Privacy
What we collect
Your email address and a password hash when you sign up, the files you upload while they are being processed, and billing details handled by Stripe. We never see your card number. If you write to us through the support page we keep your message, your reply address and our replies for as long as the conversation is useful, and delete closed conversations after a year. When you are signed in we attach your account details (plan, list counts, recent list names) so we can help faster.
Your lists
We read the email addresses in the column you choose and look up the domain after the @ sign. We do not email those addresses, and we do not check whether an individual mailbox exists. Your uploaded file and row-level results are deleted after 7 days. Summary totals stay on your account until you delete them.
Who else sees it
Stripe processes payments. SMTP.com delivers our account emails to you. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that sign-ups come from a person, not a bot. Brandfetch supplies the provider logos shown on result pages, so your browser contacts it when those load. We do not sell your data and we do not use your lists for anything other than showing you your results.
Site analytics
We measure how the site is used with Umami, software we run ourselves on our own server, so this data is not shared with an analytics company. It uses no cookies and does not follow you from site to site. It records which pages are viewed, the site you came from, your browser, device type and country, and actions such as signing up or finishing a list. It never records your email address, file names or anything inside your lists. When you are signed in, an anonymous code (not your email or account number) lets us count your visits together. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not measure you at all.
Your choices
You can delete any list at any time from its page. To delete your account, write to hello@inspectormailbox.com.
